Program

Álvaro Urbanos Jiménez (Madrid, 1990), pianist, composer and arranger. His interpretation is defined in a vigorous sound and sincere musicality, covering music from the Baroque to the present. Second prize and Gold Awarden at the Oskar Rieding International Competition for Young Performers and Composers in Celje (Slovenia).

Professionally began musical studies with Asmik Chakhalyan at the Katarina Gurska Center, finishing the Professional Degree with the highest marks and honorable mention. She finished her higher studies under the tutelage of the teacher Yuri Ananiev and Master in solo interpretation as a student of Bruno Vlahek by the CSKG. He has received classes from teachers such as Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Eldar Nebolsin, Lev Vinocour, Gustavo Díaz-Jerez, MartaZabaleta, Mariana Gurkova and Andrey Yaroshinsky.

For several years he has developed his career as a teacher and accompanying pianist in various musical education centers. He has also served as an orchestral co-repeater in the CSKG conducting postgraduate course with maestro George Pehlivanian. He is currently a professor at the SEK Educational Institution of Ciudalcampo and the Popular School of Music and Dance of Madrid.

His experience as a soloist compiles numerous events and festivals, highlighting interventions in the National Hall of Celje, Crystal Hall of Rogaska Slatina, Ateneo de Madrid, Palacio Cibeles, Victoria Theater, Military Casino, Museum of Romanticism, Cuenca Auditorium, Cycle of pianists of the Royal Matritense Economic Society of Friends of the Country, Encounter with the Music “Cuenca a tempo”, Klassic Fest of contemporary music with premieres of the composer BeatFurrer in Spain. It is worth highlighting his special collaboration as a performing pianist in the short film “Le Prochain”, directed by Raúl Herrera, a Short film that has recently obtained a special mention for Best Dramatic Short Film at the New York City Film Infest.

Yeimy Leguizamón began her studies at the Oboe Musical Training School of Tocancipá. At the age of 17 he entered the Basic Program of Musical Studies of the National University of Colombia with the teacher Carlos Villanueva. He has received Master Classes with Teachers Nancy King Jean-louis Capezzali and Jorge Valenzuela (2008), Laszlo Hadady, Harry Sargous and Carlos Surace (2012), Hansjörg Schellenberger (2014 – 2016), Emma Schied, Jorge Andrés Pinzón (2015), David Walter, Ricardo Riveiro (2016), Maurice Bourgue (2016), Emanuek Abbuhl (2016), Sebastian Giot (2016), RémySauzedde, Luis Carlos Justi, Céline Moinet (2017) and Jonathan Kelly (2019). He has participated in events such as: III Ibero-American Congress of Directors, Composers, Arrangers and Instrumentalists of Symphonic Bands, in Córdoba-Argentina (2006) and International Contest of Music Bands Vila d´altea Spain (2009).

He has played with the National Symphony Orchestra, Tocancipá Symphonic Band, Cundinamarca Symphonic Band, Continuous Ensemble, Bogotá Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (2015 – 2017) and Young Philharmonic of Colombia with which he has made important national and international tours, playing from auditoriums such as the Julio Mario Santo Domingo, (Bogotá- Colombia), to one of the most prestigious in the world such as the Konzerthaus (Berlin – Germany), under the direction of maestro Andrés Orozco Estrada.

She was a Fellow of the Cartagena International Music Festival (2016), soloist with the Cundinamarca Youth Symphonic Band at the Toquemus International Festival in Tocancipá-Cundinamarca (2015) and the Bogotá Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (2016 – 2017). She was a semifinalist at the International Soloists Competition in Esmeraldas – Ecuador FIME (2016) and winner of the scholarship granted by the FIME festival for the master-class with the masters Maurice Bourgue and Hansjörg Schellenberger organized by Musik Forum Sachrang E.V, in Germany. In 2017 she was the winner of the Scholarship awarded by the Albeniz Foundation, the Carolina Foundation and the Bolívar Davivienda Foundation – Filarmónica Joven de Colombia for her musical studies at the ESMRS. She is currently a student of the oboe chair of maestro Hansjörg Schellenberger and Victor Anchel, at the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music.
